It is a story about friendship, loyalty, cruelty, longing for acceptance, redemption, and survival. This book has a complex story and based on reality. This novel has a theme that touches all humanity. This book tells us about the complex characters and situations that will make you ponder upon the role of friendship good and evil, betrayal and redemption in life. It is very intense: however, it is not gratuitous. It tells us bout the story of tow boys Hassan and Amir in Afghanistan and Afghan immigrants It tells of amirs childhood friendship with Hassan and his relationship with his father and growing up in a privileged place in society. I sympathized with him cheered for him and felt angry and at different points. I become attached to Hassan and his Father. Ths characters become real to me was difficult to put the book down and leave their world.
